BIOGRAPHY
Peta has worked in a variety of areas within podiatric practice, including private practice in both rural and regional areas, and public practice in a High Risk Foot Clinic. She has post graduate qualifications in wound care and frequently lectures to the Wound Management Association and local Hunter Wound Interest Group. She is submitting her PhD (Podiatry) this year which has been focused on the podiatrists role in vascular assessment of the lower limb and assessing the validity of non invasive vascular assessment techniques in Diabetes.

Currently undertaking research in specificity and sensitivity of toe-brachial index in detecting peripheral arterial disease

I have collaborated with prominent local vascular surgeon, Dr Alan Bray for my project investigating the validity of the toe-brachial index.
