WEBINAR - Os Peroneum Syndrome

The topic of this presentation will involve defining the os peroneum syndrome, the anatomy, clinical presentation, mechanism of injury and both surgical and non surgical management. Xray, ultrasound and MRI findings of the condition will be discussed. The risk factors associated with the condition and differential diagnosis will be discussed. Two recent cases of os peroneum fracture with migration of the fractured fragment proximally and surgical management will be discussed.
About the presenter.....
Dr. Reza Naraghi graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2000. He was on the Pi Delta National Podiatry Honour Society in 2000, on the Dean’s List (1996-2000) and received the New York College of Podiatric Medicine Academic Scholarship Award in 1996-2000. Following his graduation Dr Naraghi completed his surgical residencies in New York and Los Angeles and as part of his residency training in Los Angeles
Naraghi moved to Australia with his family in 2007 and started to work as senior lecturer and associate professor in podiatric medicine and surgery at University of Western Australia (UWA). Dr Naraghi completed his PhD studies at UWA in 2018 with his thesis on “An investigation into the epidemiology and aetiology of Morton’s neuroma”
