    Infection Control Training – HLTSS00064 for Health Care Workers

    – Unit of Competency :  HLTINF001 – Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures

    This Infection Control Unit of Competency is *FREE FOR EVERYONE in Western Australia, supported by the WA Government via the Jobs and Skills initiative.  

    Other states, the cost is $345 inclusive of all course materials, mentoring, learner materials and assessing.

    Podiatry WA members can register for more information. This course is recommended for practice managers and podiatrists who require competency units on Infection Control.

    We need volunteers to attend a trade stand at the Remove Hazards Safe-Tea Fair at Boya Community Centre.

    Allied Health Professionals including Podiatrists, OTs and Optometrists will be delivering tailored presentations around how to make the home safer, eye health and foot health. 

    Other organisations that provide health services to older adults in line with the Remove Hazards key messages, will have stalls.

    Event set up begins at 11:00 am, with event from 12:00pm-2.30pm

    More information will be provided to volunteers to support them for the education needs of this event.
